Just before the Full Moon is the Winter Solstice
early in the morning of the 22nd. Solstice is always a time of heightened
energy and a turning point where the Earth shifts in its wobble and moves
back the other way again - a dance that brings the Sun back North. It
is a time of seeding dreams, quiet, wisdom, and not doing. Like a bear
in a cave hibernating, we enter into the dreamtime to find the seeds of
potential that will begin to sprout in the springtime. Allow yourself
to deepen with this energy into your center.
The Full Moon in Cancer tests our ability to
stay centered rather than jumping into the emotional drama around us.
Make a conscious choice to stay in your center and do whatever you need
to do for yourself maintain a peaceful inner state at this time. Water
is the element that can show us how to flow around obstacles and move
with the ebb and flow of energy. Respond to life - and whatever life brings
your way - with love.

Pathway to the Stars: Entering the Circle of the Soul
Mystery School takes us on a journey to higher consciousness and the embodiment of the divine energy that we are. A prerequisite to using the laws of the universe, such as the Law of Attraction, in a conscious and deliberate way, is to be in alignment with your Higher Self or Soul. Manifestation from a lower level of consciousness usually brings us more lessons on mastering ourselves rather than the result that we desire. This course helps you to master each level of consciousness so that you may become a more conscious creator in your life.
This Mystery School course consists of five lessons. Each lesson includes written material with illustrations for study, a lecture, meditation exercises, homework that is emailed to Heron, and discussions questions for the discussion board. Everyone taking the course has access to the Discussion Group so opportunity is available to connect with others who are studying the same Material. You may work through the lessons at your own pace.

Creating a Prayer - Take some time this Solstice and Full Moon
to set your intentions for the coming cycle with prayer. You can do this
with prayer ties or a prayer bowl. Prayer ties are made with small squares
of cloth about 2"x2" in which you can place tobacco (a sacred
herb of gratitude) and a seed of some kind to represent your intention
or dream. Pull the corners up and tie it closed with yarn. It can then
be placed on an altar of hung in a string with other prayer ties.
A prayer bowl can be any bowl that you can place on an altar.
In the bowl you can place slips of paper with your seed intentions written
as words or images. You can also put tobacco or other herbs in the bowl
as a blessing for these seeds.
Once these seeds have grown fruit in the physical world,
the prayer ties or slips of paper can be burned and the process can be
renewed.

Dancing the Prayer - Take a few deep breaths and relax. Drop a root down into the Earth to ground yourself and then open to the sky and stars. Imagine that you are magically transported onto a dance floor made up of stars, perhaps the Milky Way galaxy. As you stand alone on the dance floor, the divine mystery glides in as pure radiance and asks you to dance. You allow yourself to be guided across the stars to a beautiful melody, moving in time with the divine rhythm of things. Feel this dance in your body and notice the peacefulness of this effortless dance. Allow your heart to expand in love and the radiance of your being begins to shine. Most of all notice how all of this feels, the vibration of it. Imagine now that you are moving through your day with that same vibration, knowing that you are dancing with divine presence, and all you need to do is be. What you need simply flows to you, just as what you have to give flows out. Stay as long as you like with this image and then when you are ready you can take a nice deep breath and come back into your physical body, still holding the vibration of the dance.

A Prayer for Humanity

Over the last few months a song has come to me that plays
like muzak in my mind. It is a prayer song of surrender and supplication
for the evolution of myself and all of humanity into unity consciousness.
So here is the song that is a teaching from the Star Beings about how
to be in this Earth walk.
Make of my heart the One True Heart, Temple of Love for
the universe. We begin with the heart because that is where we must begin
these days. The heart has become the foundation of our existence in this
world just as the Earth has become the Heart Chakra of the Universe. The
level of heart consciousness that is required for us to move forward in
our lives, is one that holds unconditional love and the understanding
that all is in perfection in the moment. There is nothing "wrong"
with the world or ourselves. When we look through our physical eyes things
appear to be "wrong" relative to how we expect or want them
to be, but when we look through our heart's eyes, we see that there is
divine order and purpose to everything, even if we do not understand it.
The heart becomes the Temple of Love, accepting and appreciating
everyone and everything that comes our way. No one and nothing is turned
away from this Temple. It is like the feast to which Jesus invited everyone,
regardless of their circumstance in life. All parts of ourselves are welcome
and, since we are all one, all parts of everyone are welcome here. No
judgments are necessary. Each part has its role in this divine play of
which we are all a part.
Make of my mind the One True Mind, Temple of Peace for the
universe. Now, on to the role of the mind. Unfortunately the mind has
been assigned many job descriptions for which it is not well suited. We
use it to judge, control, and tell stories about things, people, and situations.
It jabbers away most of the day about all kinds of things that are not
true. It tries to make decisions that are always based upon false or incomplete
information. Despite this, our culture has put the mind on a pedestal
and made it the CEO of our corporations (bodies). The True Mind is the
mind of God and we have the potential to access that mind and its infinite
peace. When we focus the mind in the present and keep it in a place of
acceptance rather than reactance or resistance, peace is the result. The
mind functioning at its highest capacity becomes a Temple of Peace. This
Temple is essential for higher consciousness to evolve. Without a peaceful
mind, higher consciousness cannot be cultivated.
Make of my body a Temple of Joy, dancing the prayers of
the universe. When the heart is loving and the mind is peaceful, the body
becomes a conduit, a lightning rod that carries the divine energy to Earth.
Prayer is communication between the Earth plane and Divine presence. When
it flows through us into the world, the dance begins. Part of the dance
is the magical synchronicity that happens with no effort on our part.
We are able to respond to situations that arise as if we are dancing with
a divine partner leading us in a dance that we cannot know. We surrender
to what is and continue the dance. The prayers of the universe are for
harmony and so we dance harmony into the world with our actions and words.
Make of my soul a Temple of Light, blessing the whole of
the universe. Supported by the heart, mind, and body, the soul can be
what it authentically is - light. When the heart is loving, the mind at
peace, and the body dancing with the divine, the soul is naturally radiant.
It shines on every situation and person, blessing it in wholeness and
holiness. What in our world does not need divine blessing? Blessings naturally
flow from the authentic Self into the world. What better prayer can we
have than to be a light in the world? In each small thing that we think,
feel, do, and say, the light will shine. Perhaps no one will notice, but
that is all right for it is simply who you are - light.
At this time of Winter Solstice, Full Moon, and holiday,
ask for what is really important, not just for yourself but for humanity
as a whole. Ask that you may find love, peace, the divine dance, and radiance
that allows you to become your authentic self - a blessing to the world.
