Full Moon in Cancer
Gathering the Light During the full moon in Cancer we can use
water to help us heal and stay balanced with the flood of feelings that
engulfs us. We always have choices and this is a time to make the choice
to stay centered rather than go into overwhelm. Water rituals, baths and,
of course, lots of water to drink will help us hold the center rather
than being washed away. Here in the East, the darkness has been profound over the last month, creating sleepiness and tiredness that just doesn't seem to go away. This darkness, combined with the intensity of the energy shift that catapulted us up a vibrational level or so, has been challenging. But challenge is only there to hone our skills and keep us practiced at being centered in the moment. Each day I practice coming back to that center place when I my mind wants to create a story about what is happening. The amazing shift that we are in has little tolerance for a mind that is still telling scary stories and a lot of grace for remaining in a heart-centered space. Let your heart lead the way!
UPCOMING WORKSHOPS AND CAMPS Emotional Education for Parents and Children You probably never went to school to learn about the purpose of your emotions, how they can be effectively expressed, and what they can teach you. If you are like most people you learned about your emotions from your parents who didn't know any more than you did. This usually results in a variety of ineffective ways of responding to your emotions that go all the way from stuffing them to projecting them onto others. Wouldn't it be nice if you and your children could learn together how to work with emotions in a way that enhances family relationships and promotes good emotional skills in everyday life? That is exactly what this series of classes is about. In 4 sessions of 2 hours each you will acquire the knowledge and practical skills that will provide a solid foundation for your family to work effectively with the emotions that surface in everyday living. Using stories, role playing, self control techniques, and problem solving skills, parents and their children will learn to identify, express, learn from, and resolve their emotions as well as how to respond in helpful ways to the emotions of others. WHEN: New group forming in late January. Water Blessings - Take some time on this full moon, or the days before and after it, to nurture yourself with water. Consciously drinking water to hydrate and flush your body is one way to do this. Get the purest water you can and bless it before you drink it. Feel your oneness with it. You can charge it with a crystal in the light of the full moon if you like. Be a conscious water drinker for at least one full day. Then bathe in water that you have blessed. You may want to put essential oils in it or flower petals. Light a candle and play uplifting music. Focus on nurturing your body, both physical and energetic, with the water. Water nurtures me Meditation Exercise Staying Centered - Take a deep breath or two and drop a root down into the Earth from your tailbone. Then breathe out the top of your head up to the sky and stars. Feel yourself centered within your heart, where Earth and sky are joined. You might imagine yourself standing in a circle in your heart. A beam of light goes through the center of this circle right where you are standing. As you face each direction, forward, each side, and behind, there are four qualities that appear as symbols. It is as if you are surrounded by these guardians and embraced by them as well. First, in front of you is compassion. Notice how compassion presents itself to you and what it feels like. Explore it for as long as you like and then look to your right. There you see grace. Notice how it presents itself and how it feels. Then in back of you is love. Notice its symbol and how it feels. Finally to your left is joy. How does it show itself to you and how does it feel? Now just stand in the center and feel them all at the same time. Stay in that place of centeredness as long as you like and then come back to your body bringing the circle and the feeling with you. Step into Center

Operating System Version 11 (OS11)
I have been upgrading my computer lately and pondering the ways in which
our human operating systems are being upgraded as well. As I go through
the process of seeing what programs work with the new operating system
and what ones don't, I am struck by the parallels between upgrading a
computer and the shifts in consciousness that are presently taking place.
So I thought it might be good to comment on what I believe to be the characteristics
of the new human operating system - OS11. Why eleven? Well eleven is a number that represents a gateway. Over the
past several years there have been energy accelerations around the 11:11
or November 11th. A gateway symbolizes passing from one place to another,
or in this case from one level of consciousness to another. It also represents
the passing from duality to unity and, in the present shift, from the
consciousness of the mind to the consciousness of the heart.
The upgrade of your present system has probably already been completed. Hopefully these helpful hints on the use of your system will make your transition to OS11 easier. As we all know, upgrades rarely come with a manual these days! OS Eleven Step through the gateway If
